I'm very hard to impress esp when it comes to french restaurant but this place really stood out from the rest. Best lunch ever! Such an affordable price & you really feel like you dine in Ritz or Soho in NYC. Who needs to go to Paris? Definitely worth it!

Let me first start by saying that the reason we came to the Paris Bistro was because three separate non acquainted friends recommended this place to us. So of course our interest was peaked and we had to see what this place was all about. We had a bit of an issue finding the place as google maps on my iPhone wasn't locating them correctly. They are about a block south of Canton on Park Ave, across from the Park. We had a reservation at 9PM and when we tried to call for better directions, there phone wouldn't ring through. We finally found them after wandering around for about 10 minutes. The walkway has three fountains with Koi Fish in them and a huge tree with lights at the end. They also have seating on the sidewalk outside the restaurant and also have tables set up street front outside the walkway. Our table was inside the restaurant and the interior is very french renaissance. Fabric covered walls, paintings and the such. Nothing overly pretentious, but just enough to provide a nice atmosphere. At 9PM the place was about half full with most patrons just receiving their meals. The staff was friendly albeit a little on the slow side. Aside from that, it was a pleasant environment, but nothing amazing. We were beginning to wonder why everyone was raving about this place. Let me just say, this place is more about the food than the ambiance. We chose to skip the appetizers as they were a bit on the adventurous side for us. Frogs legs, escargot, etc. We decided to try the soup instead. I had French Onion Soup and Hubs had the Chicken noodle soup. Let me start with the french onion. This is my soup of choice and its one of my favorites. I have never in my life tasted a french onion soup like this. It was AMAZING. There were subtle hints of a sweeter spice in the soup that set this soup apart from anything I have ever tasted before. It wasn't overly salty either as I find some french onion soups tend to be. As for hubs' Chicken noodle soup, it was equally amazing. Another unique blend of flavors in a thicker broth that made me wish I had ordered the chicken noodle instead. There were a few things on the menu they were out of. Always a bummer when you've studied the menu, finally made the tough decision and are then told they are out. :( I only wish they would have had enough foresight to mention this as we were seated. We decided on the Beef Burgundy and the Filet Mignon. I wasn't impressed with hubs beef burgundy. He felt it was OK and the meat was a bit on the dry side. Its something that he said he would not order again. My filet however, was extraordinary! The meat was tender and soft, melted like butter in my mouth. The mash potatoes were rich, creamy, and full of flavor. They were so good that hubs ordered a side for himself. Also because I was giving him the death stare every time he would try to go for more of mine. You all know what look I am talking about. LOL. After we finished our meal, we decided on cappuccino and dessert only to find they were out of cappuccino. We still opted for dessert. This being a french restaurant. I was expecting dessert to be nothing less than amazing. Unfortunately I was wrong. I had the creme brulee and hubs had a chocolate pyramid thingy with spongy chocolate cake. The creme brulee was nothing special and to me was a bit on the "out of the box" side of things. Again, something that was just OK. Hubs' Chocolate pyramid was also just OK to me. The chocolate sponge cake seemed very dry and rubbery. Too much like a sponge. Nothing like what I was expecting. It was a chocolate sponge cake, covered with a chocolate sauce, encased in a chocolate pyramid shaped shell, served with Vanilla ice cream. Hubs liked it well enough and said he might order it again, but it was a bit basic. They didn't have much variety on the dessert menu, again for a french restaurant, I was just expecting more. I don't know if our recent trip to Quebec City, which is much like a North American Paris, spoiled us with their many wonderful treats and pastries, but Paris Bistro lacks in the dessert arena. One last thing I need to mention is the wine list. This was not lacking and had a wide variety to choose from. The prices are also pretty reasonable as well. Our meal totaled with tip, about $120. Not bad at all for the 6 glasses of wine and our meal. Despite the missing menu items and lack luster dessert menu, the soup and main course was amazing enough that I would definitely suggest you try this place for yourself. Bon Appetit!

A really, really great find on Park Ave. We had the pork tenderloin (delicious) and the beef burgundy (amazing). Sit under the tree outside the restaurant and enjoy a truly great meal with wonderful service.

we were doing some shopping at upscale Park Ave in Winter Park last Saturday & stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant tucked away inside a long atrium on Park Ave. They had some of the largest coys I've ever seen swimming in the slender walkway pond. The decor was very classy. The food was pricey but worth it! We had the filet mignon, rack of lamb, creme brulee & a burger. All were cooked to perfection and favorful & juicey. I highly recommend especially if want a great romantic dinner!

Stopped in here while walking down Park Ave with my sister and boyfriend. We wanted to have a drink someplace that was not inside, but also not outside because it was hot. I know that I don't make sense, but once you go to the Paris Bistro, it will. There is an outside patio off of the street, but the actual restaurant is inside, which you have to go down a hallway that is covered (but not enclosed in by doors) and then there is the restaurant inside some glass doors, right next to Le Macaron Pastries. Outside of the glass door, is more seating, next to this pretty tree that is growing from the ground through the tiles. Honestly, I didn't take a close look to see if the tree was real or not but nevertheless, it was neat. We sat in the seating that is outside of the restaurant, and ordered a cheese, meat and fruit appetizer. Just something munch on. The plate was good enough for two people. Three was definitely pushing it. But the cheese was great, so was the meat and the baguette. Service was very attentive. I have no complaints. I was looking through the menu there and it looks as though they have an amazing brunch deal, with mimosas. I will definitely have to stop in again for that someday.

We were walking around park on a day I was sick and as we walked by Paris Bistro we smelled something good so we looked at the brunch special, asked if our furry friend could join and we were promptly seated. As we were sitting we overheard the host ask someone if they would come talk to us, the man said "sure" and came to explain the brunch menu to us and take our drink orders. I thought that was a little weird but whatever. Someone else came to bring us our waters and kept making super weird eye contact with us while the host was also making nonstop eye contact with us. It was getting really awkward and they were making me feel way too uncomfortable. Someone else brought our bread after we had ordered and asked us if we had questions about our menu, but we didn't have menus anymore. So we told him that and so he walked away awkwardly (obviously). Our food came super fast, I got the chicken pesto croissant and my other half got the croque madame. We decided to split each sandwich since they both sounded so good. I loved mine, I was juicy, the chicken was moist and full of flavor, it was simple and delicious. The croque Madame was also very good. There was something, maybe mayo, that threw me off because I hate mayo and mustard, but most people wouldn't notice. The bread was great and it was very cheesy. They both came with potatoes au gratin, it's like a potato lasagna, what's not to love. The even brought out a bowl of water for my furry friend. Overall, the food was actually much better than I expected, and the service was really fast. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is how awkward they made me feel. Like if I had a mustache drawn on my face or something.

This is such a sweet, neat little spot. Each time we wander down Park we always stop here for their lunch. It's not too pricey, it's different and the food is a nice bistro-style. It's technically inside of a mall area but it's decorated to resemble being in the outside with trees and little bistro chairs.
Okay let me say that I know this is not typical... While walking down the street hostess stopped us and told me that they had the best burger on Park ave (better than burger fi!!!) So I took him up on his offer, and I was disappointed. Seriously, the worst burger I have EVER and I mean EVER have had. The bread was cold the meat was just blah... seriously McDonald's would have been better and cheaper. My wife got something else and was not impressed either. Sad to say that the hostesses bold statement will keep me from ever going back.

This was a great dining experience. The restaurant provided a nice ambiance with warm lighting from chandeliers and the red backed booths were beautiful. A very quaint place. Our server was very attentive and a cutie!! I had a Pinot noir, escargot, and the flounder with butter and capers. One more thing!! The au gratin is a delicious side dish that must be ordered!! I will return and would recommend this restaurant! Five star service and food!!
Had lunch here last week and loved it. For $11.95, you get an appetizer, an entree and a dessert. A pretty nice deal being that this is a pretty pricey place. I tried the Crepe Du Jour and it was great. The dessert was a warm cake with ice cream and it was delicious. Service is great too!

This place was just AWESOME!!! It was as close to authentic as I had experienced. The coq-au-vin was better than I had ever cooked and the broccoli souffle was to drool over. Our server did his best to make sure we were well taken care of when we came in on 12/13/2013. This became an instant favorite between my best bud and I and will definitely come back again. =D Sorry for the late review, but I didn't think people still Yelped. Ha ha ha!!!

In a sea of swarming new, creative, and not so creative buzz word restaurants, Paris Bistro on Park Av, Winter Park holds steadfast with Classical Cuisine. What is the current buzz word for new restaurants? Gastro Pub or is it Farm to Table? Who really holds the restaurant to hot coals? As they say, the proof is in the pudding or how long they stay afloat. As many culinary professionals will tout, one cannot truly be creative or forward thinking without mastering the basics. Paris Bistro has mastered the basics. Every new culinary school graduate or wannabe overnight super chef should have a meal here to know what is the yardstick before they embark in breaking the mold. There are many truly talented and masterful chefs who clearly understands this humbleness and practices this mantra. On a raining dreary night, as time would have it, I ventured out to wet my beak. Having my dog along always limits my options. Luckily, there are huge umbrellas along Park Ave infront of Paris Bistro. With the rain pouring and lights dim, Park Ave looked like a movie scene. Or maybe it was the wine. I am not sure that many interiors can replicate mother nature at her finest. So we pulled up a chair for a front row seat. Service started with cordial greeting streetside by the usher, who does everything possible to provide comfortable seating. The server arrived in a very non rushing manner, with subtleness that suggested ease. There was no pressure, no rush, no anticipation. Just an ever presence. It was almost like a shadow drifting in and out of the rain. Read my blog for extended food tastings. Polished flavors, textures and service presented in casual street side atmosphere. There can be said that this is where is all starts. These are the building blocks of every great cuisine. The classics. Paris Bistro has stuck with and mastered the classics. They stand heads and shoulders with distinction.
My boyfriend and i came to this restaurant on our anniversary. The decoration of the place is so elegant! There's a really big tree and very detail in the front of the restaurant that made by a Disney's engineering. The service is great but the food was a little bit plain. In general, come to their brunch n give them a try =]

Fellow Yelpers, Having a sincere attraction to French cuisine akin to a past existence in France, I'm always open to trying any restaurant which fancies itself in this cuisine. A very special cuisine that is dear to me and that most of its dishes cannot be pronounced sans a snooty French accent while simultaneously wearing a disgusted expression on your face. A true contradiction due in fact to the extraordinary taste and deliciousness of a majority of its dishes. Paris Bistro is tucked in behind the main pedestrian traffic of Park Avenue in a secluded and charming little corner space within a semi open building. Some of its tables line the main sidewalk for those that prefer to be among the crowd and others line the pathway inside this open 'mall' of sorts and the remainder of the seating will be found in the confines of this extremely French decor restaurant (see my photo). This spot is definitely cozy enough for a very nice dinner date or a great brunch during Saturdays and Sundays until 1630. It is a great deal compared to other restaurants in the vicinity and I highly recommend it. During brunch hours you may opt for one dish plus one dessert of your choice for a paltry ~$11. Truly worth it. Aside from the nice setting of the restaurant, the service is great. Both of our servers were very polite and eager to please like a monarchical sycophant. This added to the pleasantness of the experience. We both ordered the Mushroom and Gruyere Cheese Omelette + Profiteroles and the Coq au Vin + Banana Crepe (with nutella), respectively (see all photos). The portion size is quite generous for brunch and its associated price. Both came accompanied with a side of what I believe were Patatoes au Gratin. Everything tasted great, the Coq au Vin's red wine sauce was just enough to enhance the chicken's flavors instead of overpowering it. The omelette was large and contained just the right amount of cheese vis-a-vis the mushrooms. One hiccup (not literally) occurred during the desserts when the crepe came filled with whipped cream and bananas. It looked great, but my company could not eat it since she is allergic to that particular 'sweet.' However, without any hesitation and with haste, the crepe was quickly replaced and instead filled with an obscene amount of Nutella which oozed out like a nuclear meltdown of sugary goodness (see photo). The profiteroles were fantastic as well. Overall, this was a great experience which will lead me to return to this place and actually attempt a dinner. This is why I have not yet awarded this restaurant the full 5 stars. Au Revoir!
Exceptional service. Cozy atmosphere. Great for a quick, inexpensive lunch or nice relaxing dinner. Food was really great. Had the chicken pesto croissant sandwich, which came with a side of the best au gratin potatoes I've ever had. Banana and chocolate crêpe for dessert. Delicious! Definitely check this place out.
Great spot for lunch. 4.5 stars. Tired of the usual suspects on the other end of Park Avenue? Head to Paris Bistro across from the Park. You can eat on the street or inside in a lovely jewel box setting. We were outside under a huge umbrella, comfortable despite the September heat. Service was great. Croque Madam sandwich- amazing, Six stars. French ham, egg, cheese on wonderful bread. Can't wait to go back and have another. Usually I don't bother to eat bread on sandwiches, but this one, wow, hard not to. Bistro burger with egg was also delicious. The lunch special is $11.95 plus you buy a drink. Very reasonable for a salad, entree and dessert. Look forward to going there for dinner!

Had a delicious brunch on an absolutely perfect day in Winter Park! We enjoyed the $11.95 special where you have a choice of 2 items and entree and a dessert. She had Veal which was a perfect sized portion of tender braised veal in a mushroom, cream sauce with a lot of flavor. We all had the Crepe du Jour of Banana w/chocolate sauce, which the crepe could have had more flavor, but it was a light lunch dessert. He had the Croquette Madame and She had the ve!al. 2 Thumbs up!

My wife and i came here for dinner to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. I think you'll find my review fair and accurate. (that was some Jebediah Atkinson for you) We walked in to see beautiful red plush seating surrounding the room. The restaurant also had beautiful chandeliers, mirrors, and a view of outside the restaurant. Outside you could see a beautiful tree decorated with lights. So I'll say this place wins for its ambience. Our waiter promptly greeted us and described to us the dishes the chef has prepared. The description sold me on the Seafood Vol au Vent, but we'll get to that later. Our waiter was very attentive and brought out some bread which was pretty good. So I had the Seafood Vol au Vent, which was AWESOME. Not as big as I'd hoped it would be, but still, it was enough to fill me up. The pastry part of it was lightly sweet - perfect I'd say. The shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly. My wife had the Coq au Vin which she described as "rich and flavorful." Before that we ordered the frog legs in the garlic herb butter as an appetizer. It was my first time trying frog legs and I can't say I'm a fan of the meat itself but this is by no fault of the restaurant; rather I think it's just personal taste. The garlic herb butter it came in was incredible. I would've ordered a glass of it if I could've. They have a good wine list too. I had a Merlot, Santa Ema, a house wine, with delicious mocha and vanilla undertones. They have a good variety of house wines and specials to satisfy whichever wine you're craving (and a wide range of prices too). Overall this is a great place to go for a romantic evening with your special someone. I hear they have a good brunch too. Not ideal for kids or family dinners in my opinion, but good for a fancy date. I'll definitely come back here some time.

We decided for French to celebrate a day that ends in Y. Like many of the venues on Park Ave the Bistro has a high quality air about it. You can sit on the patio, which is really the sidewalk of Park Ave, the other patio, indoors really, but nice, or cozy intimate tables inside the restaurant. We opted for the indoor patio since we like to people watch. We went with the specials and they were good. The service was great, but they are limited on kids menu items. More upscale food for kids, but she settled for a grilled cheese. Overall, a nice place to grab a bite of French food.

Located in a very nice part of Winter Park, Paris Bistro was a very nice surprise after a long day in Orlando. I had the chicken, pesto sandwich on a French baguette with potato au gratin. It was simply delicious the brunch was $11.95 for an entre and dessert, us $5 for all you can drink peach sparkling wine. Anyway, if you're around Winter Park, stop by, it's definitely worth it. Also the location itself is very pretty.

Very good dinner. I had the mussels appetizer and the rabbit. Both were excellent. The wife had flounder and it was great. Potato au gratin was a great side. Lots of flavor and good portions. Bananas Foster for desert was okay. I make it better. Overall very solid place to eat. We took the Sunrail from Longwood.

I've been here twice now for the brunch special. The first time I tried the Crepe Du Jour, which was very tasty. The second time I gave the Tuna and Avocado Croissant a try, which is basically a glorified tuna salad sandwich. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. The special comes with a side of the potatoes au gratin. Those potatoes are fatty goodness! You can substitute a soup or salad for dessert if you're not in the mood for something sweet (or if you plan on going next door to Le Macaron, which we did in our second visit). I really hate when restaurants serve you some lettuce with a few pieces of cucumber or onions and call it a "salad". It's a disappointing way to start your meal. I've also tried the dessert crepe and profiteroles, both were just ok. Overall, not a bad place for brunch, but it's not my favorite either. A-OK describes it perfectly.

Went here for lunch today with my brother and, it was great! They have a three course lunch special for $11.95 plus a drink of choice. What an awesome deal! I had a nice bistro salad to start. For my main course, I had the Coq Au Vin which I am glad I got to try. It was so delicious and flavorful. It was the perfect amount of food. I added boiled potato for $1 instead of the potatoes au gratin it came with. For dessert, I had caramelized banana with ice cream, yum! My brother got the lentil soup, veal, and creme brulee. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well. For the value and quality of food you get, this may just be the best lunch special on Park Ave!
Yes this is a cute place and all, but one of the more average brunch places I've been to. Average is nice, but doesn't get my blood flowing. The service is great, decor nice, food decent. I've had the burger with the egg on top and I've also had the ham and cheese croissont. The burger was tastier than the croissant. The desserts that comes with the brunch menu isn't anything special, very plain. I had the crepe and all it had in it was banana with a couple drizzles of chocolate syrup. Yeah, didn't exactly make me go scream for joy. But I guess I shouldn't expect much since I only paid $12 for the entree and dessert.

After enjoying the lunch menu and atmosphere, last night was our first evening dining experience. While waiting for the final guests, everyone enjoyed window-shopping at the art shop that shares the hallway and entrance. GROUP BIRTHDAY with 15 guests was accommodated beautifully by John and Josh, with seating under the twinkling tree. The guests ranged in age from late 20's to 89, yet the menu selection was so broad that they easily met everyone's requests. They graciously accommodated the birthday cake we brought in ( charging $20 fee for their presentation, plating and service) The fact that they stayed open from lunch through evening was perfect for our senior guests, since it allowed them to park before the area became busy, and if we hadn't dallied to enjoy the company and ambiance, they could have driven home before dark. WOULD RECOMMEND not only for groups, but inside the dining area for a Romantic anniversary, And delightful weekend lunches. PRICE : average check was about $48 per person, including 20% gratuity, with about half the group enjoying appetizers and wine.

I have been here many times before for lunch and loved it but my last experience will be my last. It was slightly busy when I was seated so I wasn't expecting fast service. When my waiter arrived he asked what I wanted to drink, I asked what champagne he would recommend and I got the response " I dont know anything about champagne". I then asked if a certain drink was priced by bottle or glass...I was told it was the bottle price so I asked for the bottle. My waiter came back with a glass and said nothing until I asked if I was charged for a bottle or glass at the price listed. I was told it was the glass price and never received the bottle. I was also told that the salad was no longer available but the couple seated next to me that arrived later received a salad no problem. I would not recommend this to anyone in the winter park area. Plenty of other great restaurants to choose from.

Great lunch special! For $15 you get lunch and side item (salad, soup, or dessert) and unlimited sparkling peach or raspberry champain. I had the veal Normandy. It was very savory in a mushroom wine sauce. And I got the fruit crepe and had about 3 sparkling peach drinks.

The prices are decent for such a great and adventurous menu! The service and ambiance was excellent. Don't be afraid to get the frog legs, duck, and rabbit. All VERY amazing! Of course they also have the traditional pasta, chicken, and beef dishes.

This is one of my favorite brunch spot to bring out-of-town guests. It's super cute and affordable at $14.95/person for a brunch meal + dessert + unlimited sparkling wine. They have have 3 seating areas: (1) tables out on the sidewalk shaded by large umbrellas where you can people-watch and doggy-watch, (2) an indoor area made to look like the outdoors (with a beautiful twinkling tree overhanging the space), (3) a small cafe inside the actual restaurant with what reminds me of very old-French/Victorian decor. Whoever chose this location and constructed the three seating areas did an amazing job. There are small boutique stores all around, a neat coy pond (with lily flowers and huge coy fish) between the outdoor sidewalk seating and the indoor/outdoor seating area, and the park is directly across the street. On their brunch menu, the Croque Madame is delicious - the medium egg on top of the sandwich is always cooked to perfection. The boyfriend reports that the Chicken Pesto Croissant Sandwich and the Paris Bistro burger were good, but the Coq Au Vin (Chicken slowly cooked in red wine, onions, bacon, and mushrooms) and the Veal Normande (veal slowly cooked in white wine creamy mushroom sauce) were both just all right and that he probably wouldn't order them again. The unlimited sparkling wine really is unlimited - the servers are always graciously offering us more. I'm not sure there's much alcoholic content in those bottles, but regardless, it's nice to sip on while enjoying the company and the scenery! I wish they had a larger, more versatile brunch menu, but that's easily overlooked, as my go-to Croque Madame and the beauty of this cute little Winter Park restaurant is always delightful. I always leave this brunch spot in a great mood. Also, next to the actual restaurant is a tiny little French bakery called Le Macaron, which is the perfect accompaniment to Paris Bistro. (I've never had a macaron I didn't enjoy from there.)
So its Valentines Day weekend and of course I want to do something special for Niki. I heard that there was an art festival in Orlando, both of us love art. Also OrlandoShakes was performing Sense and Sensibility, we frequent Orlando Shakes often and both enjoy Jane Austin, Niki especially. Now where to dine??? We haven't been to a French restaurant in a while so I began the search. When I came upon Paris Bistros website, it was a perfect match. It was close to both the festival and OrlandoShakes. I made a reservation and it was just a matter of waiting for the day to come. Finally the day had come and when we arrived at Paris Bistro. I am happy to report that it is not just a visually appealing place, the service here is excellent. The moment we gave our name we were promptly seated. A quick drink order was made and after gazing at the menu for a while we ordered the escargot, coq au vin, and ballotines de volaille. All were excellent but the ballotines de volaille was incredible. The wine selection here is also very good and pairs well with the menu. For dessert we had the crepe suzette and coffees. It was perfect and a great finish to an already spectacular meal. Every bit of it was gone. Fabulous. So when you have a craving for French cuisine or want to try something different, give Paris Bistro a try. You will find an expert staff and fine French cuisine served in a lovely environment. Bon Appetit!

I absolutely adore this place! The restaurant may not seem much from the outside (located in a little plaza off of Aloma), but once you step in, it is so quaint and cute, it's unbelievable! The atmosphere is classy and chic, but laid back at the same time. The service was impeccable, not rushed, and they were all so genuinely nice, it was ridiculous. The food was DELICIOUS. Get the mussels that's in this rich creamy sauce for the appetizer - it is literally to DIE for. I think I would get this as part of my last meal if I ever was in prison - HA! The french onion soup was not too salty nor too bland - marvelous! Had the right amount of cheesiness and the soup itself was not too salty nor bland - perfect. The chicken Caesar salad was a good portion-sized plate to start off your meal with - had long strips of warm grilled chicken, and yes, it was great! I had the veal bourgandy, and yes, the meat was tender, succulent, juicy, and just filled with the bourgandy sauce that was awesome! I went here for an anniversary, so the dessert was on the house - we had the creme brulee, and I loved it. Everything about this place was beautiful. If you're ever in the Orlando area, make a trek towards Winter Park and go to this place for a wonderful French meal - none of the prissy, snooty fuss - just a great meal that is fairly priced in a tucked-in location! +french onion soup +mussels! +veal bourgandy +friendly staff :D

Wow found this lovely place on yelp while traveling. The gluten free was fabulous -- salad, Veal Normany with a rich mushroom sauce and creme brulee all for a fix price of $11.95. The service was impeccable. I will definitely be back!!

We went with my family for Dinner. The service waitresses was good. The food is very tasty and delicious. The olnly thing is the portions are small, I know is like a "gourmet" place but for the price I think are small. However they have some specials during the week for the lunch time and happy hours that I would try.

I had reservations for Valentine's Day. I found the location somewhat in a mall area to be a turn off. The food was okay, but I had an osso bucco over risotto and it wasn't hot enough. The wine choices were good although our server was not much help in making a selection. It was very overpriced for the set menu and the offerings were very typical.

Great lunch specials Mon-Fri 11-4:30pm. They offer a 3 course meal with plenty of options but you have to order something other than water to get this deal; so keep that in mind. I ordered: Starter: Bistro Salad & French Onion Soup Main: Coq Au Vin Dessert: Profiteroles Drink: Orange Mimosa Everything was delicious and came out in the perfect sized portions. It wasn't too much or too little. My favorite thing I ate was the french onion soup because they made it just perfect!

I went here on a Tuesday night with a group of three girlfriends and was pleasantly surprised. We originally intended to go to "Cafe de France," but since it was closed, we walked further down Park Ave to the next open french restaurant and found this place. I was immediately impressed with the decor. There is seating outside the restaurant, but still inside a covered courtyard area, so you are spared from most of the florida weather elements with the exception of humidity. There is this beautiful tree growing inside the courtyard, which adds a unique look to the decor. I would definitely recommend this place for a romantic date night or catching up with friends over a long lunch/dinner. Since it is July in Orlando, we sat inside the restaurant and were surrounded by giant mirrors, Victorian wallpaper, vintage candlesticks and chandeliers. It was a really elegant environment and a nice change from minimalistic, modern look that is so prominent on Park Ave. We received the novel of a menu, which took a while to read through. I'm a little scared when I go to French restaurants because they use a lot of ingredients that I don't normally eat, but I was pleased to find an entire page of a la carte items and a bunch of sides and different types of salads. I was in the rare mood for seafood, but I think a vegetarian would have an easy time eating at this restaurant and enjoying it. I ended up selecting the Provencal Salmon with Tomato Basil Sauce with potatoes au gratin, rice pilaf and a glass of Cabernet blend from Domaine de Nizas. Our server was polite and helpful throughout the meal. My salmon was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The tomato sauce it was topped with was slightly tangy and added a nice acidic touch. The rice pilaf was ok, it wasn't very memorable and I wouldn't order it again. However, the potatoes au gratin were delicious and full of flavor. You could taste the potato, they were cheesy without being too greasy, and the potatoes were still slightly firm, versus the overcooked, greasy version you typically find at many american steakhouses. My wine was really lovely. I usually stick to reds from different California vineyards I've worked at, but this was a really good blend. I'm predominantly including it in my review so I can remember what to order the next time I go. For dessert, we had the nutella banana crepe and the creme brulee. The creme brulee was delicious and exactly what you would expect when you think of creme brulee. The crepe, on the other hand, wasn't very exciting. The crepe itself was cold, as were the banana slices and nutella. Maybe it's just me, but I always imagine crepes being made fresh off the griddle with all the ingredients melting together into a warm, delicious bite. I ordered my boyfriend the Paris Bistro Burger to-go, and with the exception of the perfectly fried egg on top of the burger, my boyfriend recommends going to Burger Fi down the street to get your burger fix. And if you're really serious about burgers, just drive down to the Ravenous Pig for the real danks! This place is much more reasonably priced than you would imagine upon first entering the restaurant. My meal + wine was $30, which on Park Ave, is leaning towards the more affordable end for dinner. I made a mental note (and so should you), to revisit this place for lunch or brunch. You can get a three course meal during lunch or a two course meal during brunch for $12! I wouldn't hesitate to try this place out for that price. Another yelper said this place makes you feel fancy without breaking the bank and I think that's a perfect way to describe it. Bon appetit!

My friends and I stopped by the Paris Bistro after having dinner elsewhere because we were interested in some tasty desserts. We walked up Park Ave and were met outside by a worker who was trying to bring people in by talking about the menu. He walked us back into the indoor mall area and had us seated immediately. The ambiance of the place is wonderful, the lighting is low and the velvet seats are plush and nice. That's where the buck stops (for dessert, anyway). The espresso was burned and barely drinkable, the coffee was standard but took forever to brew. Dessert wise, the profiterolles were nothing special and tasted pre-made or made from store bought ( and not even the good store bought) things. The apple tart was the same story, although it was slightly better. My recommendation: stay away from the espresso and dessert and pick it up elsewhere for half the price.
Amazing food! You can get lunch for less than $12 on Park Ave! Crepes, beef burgundy, great breakfast croissants!

There's something about French restaurants offering outside seating that make you want to stop for brunch. We freely succumbed to this impulse while strolling down Park Avenue on a pleasant Sunday morning. Excellent service, the wait staff is very enthusiastic about their two-course brunch for $11.95. It's basically main course + something sweet at the end. I chose the salmon burger and a scoop of vanilla ice cream - an odd combo by anyone's standards, but that just proves one thing......if you offer me vanilla ice cream, or vanilla anything, really, I will gladly accept. Salmon burger was a modest patty on a simple bun, it carried that recognizable fish-oily salmon flavor I was wanting. I could have done with a bit more, portion-wise, but not terrible for $11.95. Spend a couple bucks more, $15.95, I believe, and you can get unlimited sparkling girly drinks. All things considered, a good brunch choice.

Decor was nice. Server was really friendly. My wife enjoyed her food, mine was decent. I though the French Onion soup was really bland. It would have been nice if our server poured my beer instead of just giving me the bottle and glass. Also we were just about done and another server was cleaning tables on both sides of us and sprayed Windex! Who does that??? Especially since the tables are so close together. I didn't order the Windex inhale buddy. Probably won't return.

Great ambience, delicious food, and excellent service in a charming section of Winter Park. Our party of four enjoyed the Seafood Vol au Vent, frogs legs, surf and turf, and tuna steak. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our server Carl was outstanding.
I had the filet mignon here and it was excellent. The shrimp were overdone but the damn tasty steak and scalloped potatoes more than made up for it. My friend had the scallops and said they were a tad overdone but delicious nonetheless. Our server was nothing short of fabulous. He appeared whenever he needed to and never once left us wanting for anything nor was he a pest. I also enjoyed dining on the sidewalk although at one point we had to move in due to the rain. The inside was just as cozy and inviting. I will definitely stop by again, perhaps when I have another visitor in town. ETA: I stopped back here for brunch and it was EXCELLENT. $15.95 for brunch and dessert as well as all you drink fruity wine (peach or rasberry). Yes please! My waiter was Giovanni and he was a doll, so nice and and making everything was ok. Well, nothing was OK, it was fabulous. I love this place.

Wow, what great ambiance this place has. It reminds me of a little cafe off the Champs Elysee in Paris. Food is authentically French, and the service is attentive and professional. I love sitting under the giant (fake but very realistic) tree in the enclosed courtyard and having lunch or brunch, both of which are very attractively priced. I've followed this place since its origin, with a different name and different owners, through three locations, and it still never disappoints. My favorite little Orlando bistro.

I'll give this place a 5 stars just because I really do enjoy it and I liked it. It does have some issues that should, by all means, make me demote it a star, but I just liked the atmosphere enough to not care. This place is tucked away off a street with a lot of shopping that my husband and I had never been to. We had no idea all this existed. There is a ton of shopping and other restaurants around. There is a menu out front and a guy who stands there to get you to come in, but we were headed in anyway. He just made it easier to find. The restaurant is adorable and had a nice intimate feel : it's fairly small with an outside "patio" that is not quite inside or outside. The outside tables sit under a large fake tree. Inside, it's decorated to look like French Rococo only not quite as elaborate. It was pretty and appropriate for a small place. There are not a ton of tables, but the place wasn't crowded and even when it started picking up, it never felt tight or uncomfortable. I really liked the interior. My husband and I each got a soup - I got the french onion and he the soup of the day - a potato leek soup. The potato leek soup was quite tasty - well spiced, not too thick, and something I would definitely eat again. The french onion soup was disappointing - the soup itself was bland (no hint of salt, wine, even beef really) and the cheese was almost non existant. The onions were cooked well, but nothing special taste wise. Not the place for french onion soup - some fast cafes have better versions. Our beef burgundy was the really delicious part. Well cooked, amazing beef, filled with delicious vegetables. We loved it. Perfect meal. We shared this as a meal and it was the perfect amount. We finished with the cheese plate as a dessert, which seemed to confuse everyone there, but it's much better as a dessert. Three of the cheeses were good, one was okay, and one we didn't even really eat. None of them were stellar, but I was happy with it. I know there was a swiss, a brie, and a goat cheese, but the other ones I wouldn't be comfortable telling you for sure I knew what they were. Fruit on it was delicious though! Overall a good experience. We were able to enjoy ourselves at a quite, comfortable table and eat delicious food. And you can bring your dog and sit on the patio. Totally. Jealous. Wish I lived close enough to walk over with my corgi and not in Pennsylvania.

Went for our wedding anniversary dinner. Food was excellent, we ordered French onion soup, Coq Au Vin and Beef Burgundy. The waiter was excellent and checked on us often. My only complaint was I made a reservation and asked for specific seating, and when the hostess seated us she didn't check the reservation list because it wasn't busy. So they didn't seat us where I had asked in the reservation. We still had so much fun and the food was excellent so it wasn't a big deal.

I visited Paris Bistro with my pup and boyfriend in tow, on a Sunday for brunch. Let me just tell that this place was packed!! We ended up sitting a little ways down from the entrance of the restaurant, but that didn't bother me too much, since one of my favorite things about Park Ave is the people watching. The service here was great, and they were even kind enough to bring out a treat for the pup! Being Sunday at about 10:30, I was craving a mimosa, so that was the first thing I made sure to order. As for the food, I ordered the French toast with bananas, and it was delicious. I hate it when brunch foods a super heavy and just make you sleepy. This was the perfect proportion of lite:savory. Of course I had to indulge a little and get dessert, which were profiteroles, and man where they good! Just the perfect light sweetness to finish off the meal. I would definitely come back here and try something else on the menu, I might even branch out a little and look at the dinner menu!

I heart Paris Bistro. They really make you feel fancy without breaking the piggy bank too much. My husband and I were over the moon when we decided to pop inside one night. We were not planning on going here, we just happened to be in Winter Park without our little one. We ended up here and it was amazing. The food was perfect, the wine was perfect, and despite it being kind of busy, we got a great table in the corner by the window. Just loved it. Still, I crave a real caesar salad. Was kind of expecting that here.. but it was a normal one. My surprise still awaits somewhere else! Other than that, I can't wait to go back to the Bistro.

Nestled on the north side of Park Avenue inside the Shops on Park Atrium, enclosed with family owned boutiques, it is easy to skip by Paris Bistro, truly a hidden gem. If it wasn't for the enterprising well dressed waiter standing at the entrance of the Atrium, we would have totally skipped by Paris Bistro. Now I must admit, I have walked Park Avenue on numerous occasions, in broad daylight and night-time, but I had no clue that there was a restaurant hidden inside these boutiques. From the street all I saw was a koi pond and a beautifully lit tree. The waiter caught my attention with the gentle magical whisper - french cuisine. Everyone, who is even vaguely acquainted with me, has been made well aware regarding my love for French cuisine. I adore french food and have yet to eat a dish which I disliked. We walked into an intimate space, quintessentially decorated with red velvet and crystal chandeliers. My friend couldn't help remark on my excitement over french food. To be honest, I was a bit nervous too, trying to harness my expectations. But for $11.95 a person for a three course meal, how could anyone go wrong on those prices? It took a few awkward dialogues to break the ice but soon the waiter and I had a clear understanding of our expectations. We started our lunch soiree with iced tea and coffee. Followed by our first course of salads and a simple bread basket. Both our salads were lightly dressed with fresh greens. The Cesar salad dressing was exactly how I like it. Light, tangy, with a hint of pepper and Parmesan. I was already won, did I have to eat more food? For the second course we chose the Chicken Pesto Croissant Sandwich and veal Normande. Both our entree's came with a side of potato gratin. Now mind you, this isn't your standard chicken salad sandwich which comes typically to mind. The chicken was a generous helping of herb roasted chicken, dressed with shaved onions, cheese, and pesto. One bite was all it take to represent what French food stands for and showcase how seriously the French take their food: "You don't have to cook fancy or complicated masterpieces - just good food from fresh ingredients." My veal Normande was melting in your mouth goodness, delicately flavored, it was pure orgasmic! (please excuse my over zealous description, I do have a weakness for French food). The potatoes on the other hand left much to be desired. I could certainly do without them. For our dessert course, we ordered Creme Brulee and Profiteroles. Creme Brulee is a classic French dessert consisting of a custard topped with caramelized sugar. Simple, right? That said, creme brulee is the trickiest dessert to make. The sugar can get burnt, the custard could be blobby or thick, the brulee might not chill well....and so forth. I had yet to have a decent brulee in Central Florida until I tasted Paris Bistro's version of creme brulee. It was the right consistency and was dressed with the ideal thin layer of caramelized sugar, crispy cracked top with a creamy custard inside. Oh my! we both were in food coma. Since the brulee stole our hearts, we didn't have room to appreciate the profiteroles. Though they were a bit dense in my opinion. But whose complaining? After all, we had the most unexpected amazing lunch ever. An ideal way to indulge our girl's day out. So, thank you Paris Bistro, for feeding not only our bellies, but satiating our souls too!! Bottom line: Meals at French restaurants can be intimidating, especially when you can't pronounce the dishes and imagine oneself being surrounded with pompous staff. With such reasonable prices, especially for French cuisine, why not step out of your comfort zone? I invite you to give Paris Bistro a chance, it just might make you a lover of french cuisine

Visited Paris Bistro for brunch as is apparently a popular choice. Came with my family to celebrate Mother's Day on the prior day, so there wasn't a big crowd. The food was generally quite good; serving size was just right and the Veal Normandy I ate was delicious. I chose profiteroles for my dessert, which was similarly tasty and just the right amount of sweet to end my meal. That said, I doubt I'd order them if a desssert wasn't included by default in the brunch menu. I also tacked on unlimited sparkling wine to bring my meal to $16. My family also enjoyed their food - the Coq au Vin and French Toast certainly looked good from my end of the table. My sister already had something to eat, so she simply got dessert - the Fondant au Chocolate, which I had to get a taste of. The texture of the slightly gelatinous, rich chocolate cake paired with vanilla ice cream was lovely. I'd come back just to order that. My only complaint is the service. While the man at the door and the waitress were both attentive and helpful, all of the food was served by runners from the kitchen. As a result, we were originally served another table's food, only to be taken back after he realized a mistake was made. I get trying to fix your mistake, but don't put a plate of food in front of one customer for a minute or so then pick it up to bring it to another table. I can forgive a service mistake like that when there was no wait to get to my table and the food was delicious. The Paris Bistro is certainly a good pick on Winter Park's busy Park Avenue strip, with a generally unpretentious atmosphere for brunch and reasonable prices for good food. Would love to try out dinner there next time I'm in the Orlando area.

Tucked away in a strange location off Park Ave. However, the lunch specials are very good as is the quiet atmosphere. A nice way to grab a quick lunch off the beaten path.

Came here for dinner, and service was fantastic. We felt very welcomed and we never had to flag anyone down. It's tucked away in a building, but there's lovely koi ponds and a large plastic willow tree. We ordered the braised veal and the flounder meneiure. Both were lackluster and underseasoned. Not worth the $50 dinner total. The french onion soup was okay; it was a little thick for a brothy soup? I don't believe it was a result of the cheese either. Their lunch menu seem like a better value, for a 3-course meal fr about ~$20. Nice place for a date.

This is our FAVORITE French restaurant. The food and the service is always wonderful. The beef burgundy (regular menu), braised short ribs (special) and the lamb chops (special.) are all favorites. The Flounder Meuniere is spectacular. They offer a great lunch 3 course special, delish bargain. We've enjoyed Brunch, there is seating located right on Park Ave that offers chances at great weather and people watching. Wine dinners are amazing. The food is always top notch and paired with lovely French wines.

My girlfriends and I met in Winter Park for brunch. We were planning to go to Briar Patch but since there was such a long wait for Sunday Brunch, we ended up deciding on the Paris Bistro Brunch Special: Your Choice of Entree, Dessert, & Unlimited Sparkling Wine! Of course they had us at "Unlimited Sparkling Wine", which flavors included apple, peach, & raspberry. I believe we drank like 3 bottles between us four ladies! So we pretty much shared our entrees and desserts, like we shared those 3 bottles of wine. Our entrees included the following: Tuna Avocado Crossiant, Chicken Coq Au Vin, Chicken Pesto Crossiant, and Veal Normandy. Our assorted desserts included ice cream, creme brulee, a crepe, and cream puffs. After our fun brunch, we went to Le Macaron (which was nearby!) to wrap up our French brunch!

Was very pleased with my first experience at this dog-friendly restaurant. My friend and I had lunch there with my beagle as part of the dog's first trip to Park Avenue. We sat outside and the waiters immediately brought everyone (including the dog) water, without even asking. We chose the three course lunch deals, which were very good. If you buy a drink, you get to choose a 3-course lunch from a prix-fixe menu. The lunch is $11.95 with the purchase of a drink, and included a salad, entree and dessert. Portions were smaller, but we both left sated. I had the beef burgundy, which had nice tender pieces of beef in a rich sauce with vegetables. It included potatoes gratin -- long slices of potato baked with a cheesy white sauce. It was nice and light, interesting for a gratin. My friend had the quiche lorraine, which also was good she said. I had profiteroles for dessert. The cream puffs was cut in half and had ice cream in between. The ice cream made the puffs a little chewier than they probably should have been, but they were tasty. My friend had the carmelized bananas, which sounded very good. The service was also fantastic. The staff was very attentive. I hope to go back.

If you have ever been on Park Ave. for Sunday brunch you will understand how crowded and difficult it is to find a nice location to dine without waiting awhile. However, it was wonderful to walk right into the Paris Bistro and be seated immediately by the friendly staff, from the host outside who alerted us about the lovely brunch menu to our server John P. who was a delight. He alerted us in the beginning that he was training, but he was on point and very attentive to our needs and our coffee cups were never empty. The brunch menu was clearly explained to us and I was happy to see some wonderful favorites from the menu selections. I had the Chicken, Spinach, and mushroom crepes which came with potatoes au gratin. My son had the Cog Au Vin also with the potatoes au gratin. My daughter had the Belgian waffles with fresh fruit. All of which were delicious and topped it of with a fabulous Creme Brulee' for each of us The atmosphere was beautiful and clean. It was a breath of fresh air to sit down and be waited on without feeling rushed. The dining was large and roomy so we could speak freely without sharing our conversation with the rest of the diners. We look forward to a return visit.

On this afternoon, I am joined by a few friends to savor in the tastes of Paris Bistro. We begin by ordering a round of Escargots de Bourgogne (not on the 3 course lunch menu). The escargot is served in a special plate with each of the snails removed from their shells and cooked in a garlic, butter sauce and herbs. The escargot were quite delicious, soft and plump, resembling most like the texture and taste of a crustacean. For my order, I have le coq au vin, chicken leg pieces cooked in a wine. It actually had a lot of similarities in flavors with the beef bourguignon that I made a few weeks ago. Rich and tender, the chicken has a deep taste from the hours spent baking. The potato gratin side was also quite tasty and crisp from the oven. My companions also enjoyed the crepe du jour as well as the Paris Bistro burger, made with ground sirloin, lettuce, tomato, dijon mustard, brie and topped with a gratuituously delightful egg, and also a special salmon burger. Scrumptious.

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday based on 4 1/2 stars on yelp. For lunch, depending what you order, this is no 4 1/2 star restaurant. The chicken sandwich on croissant was fantastic and interestingly seasoned. On the flip side, the salmon burger was clearly bought from a distributor frozen, then reheated, served on the cheapest food service bread imaginable. It was astoundingly bad, and we were shocked. We intimated as such to the wait staff, but they didn't think it warranted any action, this is clearly the reaction they expected. They clearly use very standard food-service ingredients, and we just expected better. The potatoes au gratin were great, and the deserts were just OK. A very fancy looking place, but the food does not live up to the ambiance.

Great place to have brunch and bring your dog with you! Prices are fair and the food was not bad. I've had better, but then again I've only been here once and just tried there Crepe du jour and creme brulee. Nothing out of the ordinary I guess. Ok service, needs improvement. They seemed rude on my first visit. Its hard to give a proper review of this place as I get mix feelings about this place with food been A-Ok and service been Meh. I will update my review once I go back for dinner.

On a Sunday morning the Paris Bistro is a delightful Brunch worth multiple visits. The ambiance is amazing and just inside the atrium area off of Park Ave. I took advantage of the Brunch special with Unlimited Sparkling Wine, and had the Quiche Du Jour, Profiteroles with Peach Sparkling wine. The Quiche was delicious with a serving size to help you get through the day along with the desert. Not sure of the brand for the Peach wine, but it's a nice touch for Brunch. The service was good, but more than anything else the location in the Atrium provides a memorable eating experience. Authentic taste indeed, compared to the French cuisine I have enjoyed growing up. It's on the list for a must try for dinner, thanks to the great brunch.

I love the French. Their language is stunning and expressive. I can say "oui," "bon appetit", "avenue", and I'm pretty good at pronouncing "Les Miserables." But mostly I'm a flop. Besides their language, the French appreciation of art, music, joie de vivre, and especially food, is "magnifique." Two dear friends and I visited the Paris Bistro on Park Avenue on a Wednesday night. The koi ponds outside, with nuclear-sized koi, were a treat. The man-made banyan tree with tiny white lights was stunning. The interior is small, sumptuous and tres romantic. One can also dine a l'exterieur under the banyan tree with the tiny white lights without actually being a l'exterieur, as the restaurant is located in a mall of sorts. We were told from the beginning that they were out of pate and lapin (rabbit). Out of pate? Decevant!! Drat, I really wanted to try both. Someone could at least have picked up some pate at Publix on their way in to work. Understanding that French is only delicately seasoned, the French onion soup was still a disappointment; it needed more flavor, maybe more fromage, a bigger crouton, and less broth. The lobster bisque shown on their online menu was not on the printed menu. One of my friends knows his wines, so he made a nice choice. I didn't see the wine list, but he commented that mostly the prices were reasonable. For entrees, I chose the Ballotines de Volaille, a chicken in marsala sauce. My dining companions had scallops and lamb. Each of us enjoyed our entrees, but didn't give any of them rave reviews. For dessert, my friends had Bananas Foster for two, which they loved absolument. I chose the profiterolles with a nice glass of port -- I can't complain, although the pastry might have come via Sysco. I'd recommend Paris Bistro. It has potential and it's a giant leap above Winter Park's Chez Vincent. But there is a French restaurant on the far south side of Orange Avenue that set a standard years ago which is hard to compete with. If you dine there regularly, Paris Bistro might be, well, inferieur. If you've read this entire review, merci beaucoup!

It seems every restaurant I've ever tried on Park Avenue is overpriced and uninspiring. I was certain Paris Bistro would be different because I used to eat there prior to their relo when they occupied a humble storefront off Aloma avenue. Upon arrival, I was really impressed with the upscale atmosphere with red velet seats and high ceilings and was eagerly awaiting a wonderful dining experience. Unfortunatley the night deteriorated rapidly upon seating. The french bread was clearly days old. Summer in Orlando which is about 275 days a year with humidity so high it often rains indoors. This is no place to try and warm up day old bread particularly in an upscale french restaurant. The experience also began to regress rapidly when I realized that by keeping the door open to this phony courtyard patio meant copious amounts of uninvited dinner guests (mosquitos and gnats) liberally infesting our table. The french cheese plate was served with the cheese way too cold another neophyte move for what is priced as an upscale dining experience. I had the peppercorn filet, the steak was cooked perfectly and had good flavor but the peppercorns were hiding or forgotten in the kitchen. The mashed potatoes were the second item that I guarantee was not cooked that day. Anyone with a taste bud can taste old potatoes; shame, shame. The portion sizes of the side dishes were embarrassingly paultry and the large plate with virtually nothing on it looked ackward. By this time one of the mesquitos took a dive into my dates wineglass and the $34 bottle of bourdeaux no longer seemed like a bargain. I tried a piece of her salmon and eggplant which proved to be the low point of the night. A very thin piece of very fishy salmon was contained inside a leathery piece of eggplant. When my shoes need resoleing I will know who to call. This dish should be avoided at all costs. We passed on desert but one can only wonder what other catastrophes awaited. For the most part the theme park crowd that trumps to park avenue is void of taste buds. That would be the only explanation why the doors of this fiasco would continue to remain open. Avoid!!

We returned to the new Paris Bistro; the restaurant changed locations from Aloma Ave. (a Polish restaurant is moving in- stay tuned for the review) to Park Ave. in Winter Park. Everything about our visit was lovely, especially the atmosphere. The service and food are better than what we experienced at their previous location. Their lunch specials offer three courses for $11.95. We went on a Saturday at 2:15 PM and specials were available until 3 PM. Mussels appetizer: delicious, especially when one soaks up the creamy broth with the complimentary french bread. The creme brulee: silky smooth. We'll be back.

Hubby and I were wandering around the shopping district of Winter Park yesterday and we stopped for dinner here. It was absolutely delicious! Our server was as attentive as he could be. Drinks (I had pinot grigio, hubby had iced tea) were served immediately. Service was efficient, but not pushy. I had the Bistro salad which was served on a chilled plate (that's ALWAYS a plus for me!) with just the right amount of viniagrette. Entrees: Hubby had the filet mignon with brocolli soufle and garlice mashed potatoes. I had the duck with cherry sauce (with whole cherries). Duck is known to be chewy at times, but this was THE most tender duck I've had in my life. It was served with broccoli soufle and gratin potatoes. The portions are perfect - not skimpy, nor over-the-top. We were too full for dessert, so we'll make a point to do that next time. Paris Bistro is clean and has a nice atmosphere. I'd go back in a heart-beat!!

Upon walking in, the sight of red linens, dim lighting, and a friendly French man envelop you in the charming atmosphere of Paris Bistro. As much quiet and peaceful as it is homey, Paris Bistro will dazzle you with perfectly contrived French dishes where each bite will likely stun your nervous system. The Ballotines de Volaille reminded me of why I love French cuisine in the first place. I could sit here describing everything from the softness of the chicken to the creaminess of the marsala and mushroom sauce, but no description will do the taste justice. Coming in a deceivingly small-looking dish, the Ballotines de Volaille fills you up in a special way that most meals fail to do. It sits in your stomach radiating love and good vibes as opposed to the usual Cold War that goes on after consuming a variety of acids and alkalines in lesser quality food. The Pork Tenderloin with Moutarde de Dijon...now here's an example of perfectly tender pork that almost cuts like butter. Whomever thought to combine creamy dijon with white wine should be awarded a Nobel Prize...or at least a big kiss on the mouth. The dishes come elegantly garnished with a ripe and seasoned tomato, potatoes au grautin, and a spinach and egg quiche. I'm thinking that I can't wait to try the Chateaubriand and the Filet Mignon if the pork and chicken are this good. The wine list was the way I like it: relatively simple, although diverse, and with the pre-requisite Bordeaux and Pinot Noir. I've never been a fan of creme brulee, but they do have it along with crepe suzette and Profiterolles (sort of a cream puff with ice cream and chocolate sauce). The only thing I didn't like about Paris Bistro was the French Onion Soup. The broth had that quintessential French Soup flavor, but the cheese was minimal and the crouton was tough to chew. I'm just excited to go back, forgo the French Onion Soup, and dive right in to the steaks and the delicious looking Salmon Cretoise. I must mention that the prices are very fair. All too often, you find that restaurateurs serving delicious and fine French cuisine can take advantage of you on the price. Not here. Everything is fairly priced.

A great place for a nice lunch while shopping in Winter Park. Great service, good food, and some reasonably priced selections. Add to this the great ambiance. No matter what kind of day you have had you will find this a peaceful oasis.

What a gem! I agree that the place doesn't seem like much from the outside, but don't forget the old adage about books and their covers. The meal was so fantastic that I almost wanted to stand up and cheer when it was over and truly was one of the best I have had in a long time. This is the kind of place that reminds you why you love food and going out to eat. The service was impeccable. On one Tuesday a month they do a set dinner with wine pairing and even have a quiz where you can win a bottle of wine, but don't let the gimmick (even though its a good one) fool you. This place has a charming ambiance and would be a great choice for a romantic night. Don't miss out on this place and if you are going on a weekend, I recommend reservations. You can go all out or keep the tab reasonable. They certainly have options for most budgets

C'est magnifique. Eight booths and a dozen tables make up The Paris Bistro, an unforgettable French restaurant in Winter Park. As a lunch special you get a 3-course meal all for only $10.95, creme brulee included. I would highly recommend for a first date or an anniversary, and the wine list is quite extensive considering it's size---and all bottles are affordable. When ordering dinner entrees price around $10-$15, and don't chicken out and order the caesar salad because it's safe -- the bistro salad should not be missed. Also there are two interesting misnomers for this very nice french restaurant to not unpersuade you - the staff are unpretentious and it's located in a strip mall next to a 7-11.

This was my first visit. My date and I were not impressed. Her chicken and penne had maybe 3 pieces of pasta. My beef burgundy had terribly dry meat in a very liquid broth some taste but not worth $18. Probably will not return to this establishment

We came as a party of four to Paris Bistro. We got seated right away because it was empty . I wondered why it was so empty on a nice Friday December night. The waiter came right away, recited the specials and took our drink orders (wine and beer only). Our drinks arrived quickly. After we ordered we waited over 35 minutes with still no food or waiter in sight. Around us, others received their food more quickly. We were told the kitchen was backed up (although it was not crowded.) Finally, after 45 minutes our food arrived. Our orders were, NY strip steak, surf and turf, salmon (daily specials). My order was pesto seafood pasta. The waiter had not kept track of who ordered what. But, I ate my seafood pasta and let me tell you it was nothing to write home about. I was afraid to order dessert because first of all food was not that great plus god knows how long it would have taken. The check for that food with two beers and one wine was $116.00. It's OK food, nothing special, and not great service. Yelp's 2-star quote sums it up well: Meh. I've experienced better.

Food was good. Not a good wine selection. Was not impressed with service - the servers were rushing us through dinner. If you want a romantic dinner, I would consider somewhere else.

There's a reason this place has a shorter wait for brunch than anywhere else. Came here on a depressing Saturday after Disney closed its water parks, having gotten a late start due to the long lines elsewhere, and immediately had a bad feeling, based on how long it took to get seated, get silverware, and have our order taken. The people at the next table were in the same situation. The coffee was some of the worst I've ever had, there was some silliness about whether they had crepes or not (which leads me to think that the crepes were probably premade), the French toast inedibly dry, the maple syrup fake, the croissant sandwich lukewarm and slightly crushed looking. Maybe this place is okay if you live in the culinary desert that is central Florida, but if you're from a place with good food, steer clear. Afterward we went to Barnie's down the street to try brunch and coffee again, and that worked out much better.

This place was very pretty and romantic. I loved the huge mirrors on all walls of the room we sat in. We started off with the goat cheese croissants which were very tasty. I had the lapin (rabbit) and my husband had the rack of lamb special of the night. He enjoyed it but said it was a tad dry, I tried it and thought it was delish. My wabbit was extremely yummy. I had always wanted to try rabbit and this was the reason we actually went to this place. Overall it was an nice experience and I would definitely go back.
Mahi mahi was a bit dry, wine selection is outstanding, sat next to the concrete tree inside, waiter was very friendly. A nice spot for a special meal with friends

We had been to their Aloma location many times and loved the bistro ambience, although the restaurant was in a block right next to a Urologist! The Winter Park location is way more fancy but with the same menu and prices. We were surprised to find it almost empty on a Friday evening at 8. The waiter was a little strange, somewhat abrupt and a little too helping. He brought the cheque along with the dessert although the place was completely empty. We gently told the manager that may be he needs a little training! She told us the regular person, Philippe was away. The chicken was nice and the creme brulee was good too. I do think the new digs are a little too fancy and not sure if the restaurant will do well in WP. Another French place went out of business exactly in the same spot. Luma is still my favorite when going to Winter Park.
I had a wonderful lunch. It was the price fix menu of Beef Burgundy and Creme Brulee. We sat outside and the service was excellent. If you visit the Morse Museum which is a block away, make sure to hit this place for lunch or dinner.

The server was knowledgeable and friendly. My wife had the "Coq au Vin" which was excellent. Very tasty, juicy and a nice presentation. However, I had the Red Snapper in a pastry with scrimp and it had no taste. When it arrived it looked great with a loaf of bread appearance. But when you get to the inside sauce it was tasteless. There was only a little fish, and two scrimp. It was not worth the money or to eat. Bananas Foster, I love this type of dessert and usually get it if it is on the menu. You have to order it for two so the price is $9 per person (very pricey). What you get is a single banana cut in haft and then cut length wise and placed around a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and a sweet sauce pored over it. This is all done in the kitchen. It was terrible! This is not a banana foster but a scoop of ice-cream and a banana in a sweet liquid. Also, it is prepared in the kitchen, not at the table. The wine was adequate. So for this $100 meal, one out of three items was good, but I will not be back.

Awesome! Excellent food, fairly priced wine, great service, & the best Creme Boule in Orlando! What more could you ask for? After three visits, we are even more pleased. A favorite.
We came hungry and left hungry. Lunch menu is a good value but dinner is a huge mistake with prices above $25, each side charged separate, and microscopic portions. My NY steak did not even taste like steak, came with one baby carrot sliced in 3 pieces called "seasoned vegetables" , and 2 tea spoons of mashed potatoes. Be ready to buy pizza after you leave Paris Bistro so you don't go to bed hungry. Fancy interior, but really overpriced menu not worth what you get, for people with no appetite.

We stopped by this restaurant when another one in the area had a long waiting list. We choose to eat inside the restaurant which is actually outside the restaurant doors instead of on Park Avenue. My husband and son both ordered different versions of French toast while I got the chicken on a croissant. My chicken came with a side of potatoes as well. We all ordered two course meals which means we also were able to get either a soup salad or dessert. Each one of us choose to get a different dessert - either ice cream, creme brulee, or a fruit crepe. All of our meals and desserts were delicious. Our server Mike was attentive, every time we needed something he was right there. The pricing for our meals was in line with going to Keke's down the road, but the meal and service here was much better.
I was suggested to visit this establishment for Saturday brunch. Enjoyed a nice scenic boat ride of Winter Park,Fl and was ready to enjoy a nice brunch. Was seated by a very nice greeter but from there on I was not pleased by the staff. Within 10 min another two groups came in and were seated and they were given their waters and their orders were taken. From this I asked our greeter that we are not pleased by what just happened, so we waited just a few minutes and again the waiter I believe in our section decided to go take another order from a bigger party. We got up and left. My mother and I were not happy and probably won't come back but if I do I hope it's much better than this. I can't beat the prices as they were good and options were great but the wait staff was just horrible today.

Owner is really nice! The cuisine is unique!!! Love this place. Located in a really neat building on Park Avenue. Walk past the coy fishes and see the Tree of Life and know you are in good hands! Not a state farm pun lol :-P But really awesome food and Brunch!

Oh this place is sooo good.. We ordered the Coq au Vin.. The meat was so tender it just fell right off.. Everything we ordered was really good. We werent sure what something was on the menu. so we asked.. apparently that app. was french for snails.... pass.. This place has $$ but i honestly think it should be $$$. I mean its french and its on park ave. i guess i should of known. Its more of a romantic setting on the inside . and they even have a fake tree on the outside, but still on the inside, that you can sit under.. I know that doesnt make any sense. but you have to go into a building to get to the rest. and thats where the tree is. so your just inside another building... We didnt get there till after 9pm.. They close at 10.. we were able to get out of there at 10, but at no point were werushed. there were people eating out side (but still inside) under the tree when we left. and i saw no one rushing them to leave either. Our waiter was John.. Friendly and helpful. I normally wouldnt pay $30 for a 8oz steak. but their chicken was so great now it has me really wondering what their steak tastes like..

My wife and I dined at Paris Bistro Saturday night for our 45th wedding anniversary. What a wonderful experience and great service. I had the Duck a la Orange and it was cooked perfectly at medium rare and the sauce was flavorful and authentic. The presentation was beautiful and classy and added to the experience. My wife had the Beef Burgundy. The depth of taste was magnificent and the beef was tender and flavorful. Again, the plating was spot on. The only downside was our timing. We were there at 5:30 and were the only couple in the restaurant until we left. Although the location is odd, set back in a small shopping mall, I highy recommend Paris Bistro, it's a gem.

We celebrated my daughters 14th birthday on a Saturday and it was perfect ! We made a reservation a couple days before and they had the table ready ! The weekend brunch is lovely for 12.95 you get two courses . The Belgium waffle with Nutella and strawberries was delicious ! The restaurant is tucked away in a small cove off the main ave . They had omelette a and even chicken coq a vin on the menu . They handled the large party very well and kept it very organized !

My friends and I went here for dinner on Friday. The service was fine and the waiter was attentive and friendly. While there was nothing wrong with the food, there was nothing spectacular about it either. For my entree, I had the Pasta Primavera with Grilled Chicken. It was served lukewarm, but I didn't ask to have it reheated, so I've no particular complaints about that. The noodles, chicken, and vegetables were all bland, with little to no seasoning and little to no differentiation between foods. No flavors stood out. For dessert, I had the Fondant au Chocolate. While the cake did have a chocolate flavor, it was dry and served lukewarm. The ice cream had an artificial vanilla flavor, which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing if I were buying store brand ice cream. Additionally, I tasted slight freezer burn halfway through. Overall, the food was bland and unimpressive. While nothing tasted especially bad, I wouldn't make any effort to return.

I had high hopes for this place. I booked the reservations on Opentable for Valentines Day. Checked out the menu and everything looked good. When we arrived the waiter told us the only items available were part of their $69.99 Valentine's Day menu. I wasn't thrilled but since it included 4 courses we decided to stay. The food was so so. Definitely not worth the price. Another thing to keep in mind is the bathrooms are located outside the restaurant in the "mall" area. Both the men's and women's (according to my wife) bathrooms were disgusting. I get the impression the restaurant doesn't control the bathrooms, but when I'm paying almost $200 for meal I except at least a clean bathroom. With all the great restaurants in Winter Park, do yourself a favor and pick another one.

Overpriced and underwhelming. Ambiance was amazing, we sat inside under the "tree." Our server was pleasant and well informed in the beginning, then seemed to disappeared further into the evening. The service was good, with the exception of a lag in the delivery of our food. I was very happy to find Unibroue's La Fin Du Monde beer, which is a very good craft beer. The food was overpriced in comparison to the quality of the food that was delivered. I order the duck confit, which was small and cooked into oblivion, and I had the risotto side which was good. Overall, regrettably, the food missed the mark. With all of the dining options on Park Ave, I would not return.

Consistently great food. The avocado and shrimp salad is excellent and so is the crepe dessert.
Decided to eat outside for lunch on a Tuesday. Service was very slow the entire time. The waiter showed up, apologizing for being late, and then told us it was his first day. When we asked about champagne recommendations he goes on to tell us he doesn't know anything about champagne. We showed him one we wanted listed on their menu as $8/bottle, he said yes that's the price for a bottle. Then comes out with the bottle saying it is ringing up as $29, but he's going to go ask the manager. Meanwhile we still haven't received the first course of our 3 course meal. We then receive 2 glasses of champagne and he just walks away not saying anything about the price or where the bottle went. When they brought our second course we asked if each glass was $8, he replied yes and walked away. The food was average quality overall. I have dined here during dinner hours before and never have experienced anything this bad. We never saw a manager during our 1.5 hour lunch. Our meal included slow service, untrained waiters, and average food.

Paris Bistro is nestled in the back of a small shopping center along Park (near the macarons shop, everyone knows where that is) and is marked by a large fake indoor, outdoor tree. It's firman unique ambiance that's ideal for Sunday brunch and Sunday brunch is my favorite meal of the week. We had my friend's goodbye brunch here and the 6 of us each enjoyed our dishes. My croque Madame was deliciously cheesy and crunchy and totally hit the spot. The burgers for rave reviews. I especially love the restaurants price fix menu and all you can drink options. Paris Bistro may not offer everyone's idea of true French cuisine but the menu is a crowd pleaser offered in an elegant, yet non pretentious setting.

This place is AMAZING. I had the $12 lunch. It came with a salad, salmon burger, and dessert. The food came perfect timing, the servicer was so friendly, and the food was fantastic. The salad was fresh and the perfect size. The burger was mouth watering and so big that I couldn't finish it; it came with a creamy potato dish instead of French fries. I split the candied bananas and chocolate ganache puffs with a friends, I was in heaven with each bite. I can't wait to go back!

While my food was good, my brunch experience a few weeks ago here was not what it could have been due to the chef's refusal to make items on the menu vegetarian for my friend after we realized that they had updated the brunch menu in the restaurant without changing their online menu. The chef refused to leave the kitchen to speak to my friend, so our poor waiter, who was very nice and understanding, had to bounce back and forth between us and the kitchen to get something worked out for my friend. He had to go back 3 times. I do not understand why things like croissants and crepes are not modifiable. My friend had to go out of the brunch menu to find something they could make vegetarian for her. Aside from that, it was a good experience. My burger was juicy, the unlimited wine and dessert that comes as part of the brunch special was amazing. It's just a little hard to give a place that's so inflexible a good rating when things like crepes should not come with meat pre-mixed in. Also she got a surcharge for it when it should be the restaurant's responsibility to offer more options for everyone and update their menu online.
Went here for Valentine's Day. Way overpriced sub par food. They made you order from the 4 course $70 pp menu. No other choice. That really pissed off my husband. The choices were not very French, either. Liked the tree outside the front entrance, but we were seated in the loud dining room at tables too close to others for any kind of privacy. We won't be back. There are too many other amazing places to waste your time here.

(4)Carla T.
I've been here a few times and while I love the atmosphere of the place (I've only sat outside) the portions can be small. This is a great place to people watch and the food is generally tasty. I got the Coq Au Vin Chicken this time Which was okay but my moms Veal Normandy was better. I went for brunch today which I had never been to before the brunch includes a desert. I got the creme brûlée as creme brûlée goes it was fine. I requested bread with my meal because I had always gotten it before at dinner the waiter told me they don't give bread with lunch anymore. I found this to be a little weird. Okay maybe your rationing your bread baskets so include one piece with the meal instead. They're 12 dollar meals even Panera gives me bread. I could see if they only gave it to you if asked either way it turned me off the place a little. I've been to Paris and they gave me bread with each meal it's a staple I come to expect. Overall the staff had always been friendly when I go and the location is good right across from the park.

(5)Tony P.
This place lives up to the nice reviews. Highly recommend. We came for Mother's Day brunch and enjoyed a variety of croissants, Belgians waffles with fruit and Veal Normandy. All were excellent The dessert was creme brûlée and crepes with fruit. Again very good. Don't expect an open table on weekends or holidays, so make a reservation. Enjoy!

(4)Danny J.

I recently stopped to have some dessert. Meaning, this review is about the dessert, not the food. Once every three months, I go to Epcot for the sole reason of eating Creme Brûlée in France. In fact, I once had five servings because of life. Since then, nothing has compared. I'm not going to write a giant review about their dessert but I will say that I will be coming here once a month. Their Creme Brûlée has the perfect balance of creaminess and flavor. The Caramelized sugar isn't too hard and it has a nutty flavor profile. The strawberries on the side are probably for garnish but I would like to imagine that it's supposed to enhance the dish. However, I am that guy who eats the inedible garnishes because I just have no idea. Overall, it's a fanatic treat to have and it isn't too heavy. At first, I was really disappointed by the size. However, the richness makes up for it.

The food was delicious and the service was top notch! Great brunch deal - entrée and dessert for $11.95. I was treated like royalty & the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful! It's tucked away off Park Avenue, but definitely a great find!

Au Revoir!

As any Francophone (née Francophile) would agree, some of the best experiences in finding one's favorite French Bistro/Restaurant in Paris (or other beautiful French city) would be those found nested within particular Rues, buildings or alleys which are off the main walkways-this applies quite accurately to the Paris Bistro & it's wonderful Pâtisserie! The food, atmosphere, service & location are our favorite! We highly recommend to all as well as find excuses to visit often! Never pass by this magnifique local Bistro without at least once having eaten!

Somehow we've always gone past this restaurant without really seeing it (well, I say "somehow" as if it's difficult, in fact it's really easy to miss if you're strolling down Park Ave). Upon realizing its existence one Saturday, we decided to stop in for lunch. The brunch menu is a pretty good deal -- a meal and a choice of soup, salad, or desert for $11.99. Pretty reasonable considering the location. Add an extra $5 to that and you've got unlimited flavored sparkling wine to go with it. By "flavored sparkling wine", I mean this stuff is bottled as peach or raspberry sparkling wine -- not the flavored mimosas you'd get anywhere else in the area, where it's sparkling wine with a squirt of some flavoring added. In that sense, I think it's better. The downside is that peach and raspberry are your only options -- you can't get a standard mimosa in that deal. I ordered their namesake burger with a creamy broccoli soup. The soup had some good flavor and worked well as a dip for the free bread on the table (I'm a sucker for good french bread, apologies to my doctor). The burger was a patty with cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, and an over easy egg on top. The meat was more seasoned than I expected it to be, and it had so much going on that I ignored any of the standard burger condiments (ketchup, mustard) because I didn't want to lose any of that flavor in the mix. The egg, despite the eventual mess that you knew would happen once the yolk broke, was a great addition. The burger came with a small bowl of potatoes au gratin as the side. This was easily the weak point of the meal, but they weren't bad, just sort of plain. And as you get down into that final third, the amount of oil resting there amidst the potato is a bit unsettling. I stopped there. Service was impeccable throughout the visit, the staff was gracious and friendly, and along with the classy décor inside and unique outdoor-but-not-really seating outside (but not really), lent to an air of sophistication that transcends the expectations set by the prices on the menu.

I liked everything about this restaurant. The atmosphere, food and drinks. Our service was great and very timely. I would definitely go back!

(4)Captain D.
(5)Kim W.

(4)Kris E.
Paris Bistro is good, but nothing about it is very memorable. I love French food so I was really excited by the menu. Most of the entrees are accompanied by some kind of thick sauce and everything looks so delicious on the Yelp pictures. The verdict was just "meh." I ordered the Filet and my wife ordered the Shrimp a la Provençale. Both dishes were prepared well and tasted pretty good. I felt a little let down on the side items; the mashed potatoes and green beans were standard and had no character or flair. I felt like I got what I paid for but not much more. I wasn't expecting the French Laundry or anything, but a little more quality would have been nice. The service was very good. Our server was very intuitive, bringing things without being asked without being overbearing. The décor of the place feels a little 'plastic' and if you have to use the restroom, you have to actually leave the restaurant and use the public restroom in the plaza. I went for dinner but I heard they have a very good brunch, so I will probably try again in the afternoon. Meanwhile, the search for awesome French food in Orlando continues.

(5)Alexandra W.

(5)Annie L.
The prices are decent for such a great and adventurous menu! The service and ambiance was excellent. Don't be afraid to get the frog legs, duck, and rabbit. All VERY amazing! Of course they also have the traditional pasta, chicken, and beef dishes.

Fantastic Saturday brunch. Split pea soup very tasty. Quiche Lorraine one of the best I had in a long time. We will be back again.
(4)Anne D.

Wonderful staff and ambience. Went there for lunch with family. Great three course meal for $12. Authentic french cuisine. Creme brûlée was out of this world...I have dreams about it!

(5)Feddra S.
We went with my family for Dinner. The service waitresses was good. The food is very tasty and delicious. The olnly thing is the portions are small, I know is like a "gourmet" place but for the price I think are small. However they have some specials during the week for the lunch time and happy hours that I would try.
(4)Natalie H.

(4)Diana S.
(2)R S.
Wonderful lunch special for $11.95..the food was great. The only reason for 4 stars is Caesar salad had some brown touches. :(. The spinach quiche was nice and the crust so flaky and melts in your mouth. Finished lunch with a fantastic creme brûlée which was perfect. Sever was Thomas was busy but a gem.. Cannot wait to go back to try the French onion soup.
(4)Ellie M.
Amazing food! You can get lunch for less than $12 on Park Ave! Crepes, beef burgundy, great breakfast croissants!
(5)Patrick L.
(3)Chris L.
(2)Troy S.
Great ambience, delicious food, and excellent service in a charming section of Winter Park. Our party of four enjoyed the Seafood Vol au Vent, frogs legs, surf and turf, and tuna steak. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our server Carl was outstanding.

Paris Bistro is a wonderful place to enjoy 3 star food in a 4.5 star atmosphere. The restaurant is gorgeous inside and has a very authentic French bistro feel to it. I ordered the lunch special. I didn't want a burger, crepe, or ham sandwich, so I asked about the coq au vin and the beef burgundy. The waiter was less than enthusiastic about both, explaining that the beef tends to be a bit dry and that they try to warn people about the coq au vin because the dark meat has a very strong taste to it. I went ahead and ordered the Beef Burgundy, the house salad, a creme brûlée, and a glass of Grenache-Syrah. The salad was good but small. The wine was refreshing but unremarkable. The creme brûlée was one of the best I've ever had, but served in a size that can only be described as "cute." The Beef Burgundy was dry, as advertised, and a very small portion. It's a shame, too, because the sauce was excellent. I left, having enjoyed a decent but unexceptional meal, a little bit hungry... and a little sad that the food was not as memorable as the interior decorating.
(3)Patti M.
(5)Steve A.
(5)Katherine M.

I love the Brunch menu here. French food well prepared and reasonable pricing.

This place is authentic, what else can I say. A delight to taste their passion. Everything I have tried has been awesome.

(3)Lisa W.

The atmosphere is delightful and the food is always amazing! Highly recommend the veal Normandy and carrot or broccoli soup if they have it.

Very good food, they have great specials and have a very courteous staff. I love their salads. My friends and I have always been happy when we go here.

(3)Billy O.

(4)AJ K.
Last night was my first time at Paris Bistro and will not be my last. Great service and everything we ordered was spot on from the escargot to the chicken and prosciutto. I tried something from everyone's plate including seafood special and flounder. Great experience.
(4)Ross O.
The food had exceptional flavor! We got in on Mothers day for brunch without a reservation so that began the blessings! The food is a tad bit pricey for what you get but it is Winter Park so quit whining. I would definitely go back!
(4)Sam B.
The service and food are always excellent. The 3 course lunch is a deal.
(5)Nikita B.
(5)Michael C.
(5)Boo P.
I met a friend for lunch and ate inside. The dining room is very nicely decorated and one wall has glass floor to ceiling windows. My friend ordered the chicken sandwich on croissant. She liked it a lot.
(4)Phil S.
This was my first visit. My date and I were not impressed. Her chicken and penne had maybe 3 pieces of pasta. My beef burgundy had terribly dry meat in a very liquid broth some taste but not worth $18. Probably will not return to this establishment
(2)Sankar M.
(2)Kelly S.
Food was good. Not a good wine selection. Was not impressed with service - the servers were rushing us through dinner. If you want a romantic dinner, I would consider somewhere else.
(2)Shannon C.
(1)Mims M.

3.5 stars --Stopped here for some Sunday lunch when we were on Park Ave the other day. They had a pretty good lunch/brunch special were you get an entree and a dessert for about $10.00. Thanks to the many yelpers advice, I avoided the salmon burger. I opted for the healthy side and got the shrimp and avocado salad, which was a tossed salad with some chopped mangos, three small seasoned shrimp (with the tails on, which is such a pain) and a 1/2 of avocado. It was nice, but nothing spectacular. Those with a heartier appetite would be disappointed in the small size, but I thought it was fine. Husband got the burger which was seasoned nicely. Son got the recommended grilled cheese which he devoured, but he turned his nose up at the au gratin potatoes they served on the side. Dessert was good, the three of us split the creme brûlée and the profiteroles (cream puff with ice cream, chocolate and whip cream). Overall good, but nothing spectacular. We enjoyed the ambiance, and the wait staff was nice, so I would certainly be up for going there again-especially for dinner when something like Coq Au Vin seems more appropriate.
(3)Dave B.

(3)Peter S.
My wife and I stopped by on Saturday for lunch while shopping in the area. The brunch menu was wonderful. Her omelet with goat cheese and spinach was perfectly prepared and my croque madame was superb too. Unlimited sparkling wine and a choice of dessert (for us an amazing creme brûlée ) made the brunch deal for $15.95 a steal. The atmosphere is very authentic, reminds me of the little cafes we ate at when we traveled to Paris. Great food, great experience, definitely a place where we will be back.
(5)Bob T.
I had a wonderful lunch. It was the price fix menu of Beef Burgundy and Creme Brulee. We sat outside and the service was excellent. If you visit the Morse Museum which is a block away, make sure to hit this place for lunch or dinner.
(5)Roger M.
(2)Ed R.
Awesome! Excellent food, fairly priced wine, great service, & the best Creme Boule in Orlando! What more could you ask for? After three visits, we are even more pleased. A favorite.
(5)Benjamin S.
Food: Good Service: Fine Price: Crazy (for what you get) My fiancé and I went for Valentine's Day and the service was okay, nothing special, if I hadn't known better we didn't even have a waiter... He took our orders and brought us our food, nothing really other than that. The food was good, not amazing, and definitely not worth $168.00 200.00 after tip. I don't mind spending that kind of money if the experience is worth it... Just wasn't worth it.
(2)Consumer F.
(2)Jessica B.

Just went for a late Valentines dinner. Service was slow even though it was empty. Food was not good at all. To start the Mussels were dry and my french onion soup came out with what appeared to be a cold piece of Kraft cheese on top. When I returned it to be broiled, it took a very long time to get back and the fact that the cheese couldn't melt showed it was processed cheese. Entrees were very underwhelming. The lamb was over cooked, sautéed green beans were steamed and cold, and the au gratin potatoes were seemingly from a large dish and our portion cut out. Salmon en crute was subpar. Would not return or recommend. Go any of the other Park Ave options.

This restaurant has great service, hands down. The servers I encountered during lunch were extremely courteous and pleasant. That being said, I had a higher expectation for the food. I had the lunch special which was ~$12 for a 3 course meal when you buy a drink. I had the lemonade, and unfortunately it was the sour, powdered kind of lemonade rather than fresh or even from concentrate. That was disappointing. For the appetizer I had the acorn squash soup. It was tasty, thinner than I was expecting, but good. I chose the Coq Au Vin for my main entrée which included 2 chicken drumsticks in an onion, bacon, and mushroom red wine sauce accompanied with dill herbed French fries. The meat was strong for my taste, but if you like those flavors then you'll probably like this dish. My only complaint was that it didn't taste fresh. I was a little thrown off by the side of fries- it didn't seem to match the dish, but at least they were good. For dessert I had these two puff pastries which were topped with vanilla ice cream and a chocolate sauce. That was absolutely delicious! My favorite part of the whole meal. Overall I was expecting better French cuisine, but it's because I've eaten at Santiago's Bodega and their french food is absolutely amazing. I can't help making the comparison. The atmosphere and service is definitely nice at Paris Bistro, but in the future I will probably be going elsewhere for French cuisine.

Sautee sea bass was outstanding! Sit street side and people watch. Our waiter David was the best!

I really enjoy Paris Bistro for brunch and out of the few times I have been there it's the only thing I get there. The Croque madame is my usual choice with the creme brûlée for dessert. It's a good price and the food is pretty tasty :)

One of the best restaurants in Winter Park! The weekend brunches are the best! And the Crème brûlée was amazing. The customer service is excellent.

Food was okay, nothing mind blowing, good price for two course brunch. Desserts were the best part, profiterole, creme brûlée and crepes with bananas/chocolate. Make sure you have time because the kitchen is SLOW getting food out, our server was great and very attentive. Quaint atmosphere, Parisian bistro style, off the busy Park Ave with some outside seating.
